What is a 3DGS viewer?
3D Gaussian Splatting represents a captured scene with many translucent, oriented Gaussian primitives. A 3DGS viewer projects and blends those splats in real time, producing a navigable view of the reconstructed space.
Review a 3DGS result in the browser from a compatible PLY or .splat export. Explore the reconstruction, set the opening view, and send it as a simple URL.
Selecting or dropping a file starts a cloud upload. Only upload content you are authorized to share. By uploading, you agree to the Terms. Read our Privacy Policy.
Free links stay online for 48 hours.
No registration required.

Export a compatible Gaussian Splat PLY or standard .splat file from your reconstruction workflow. View.gs validates the format, uploads the data directly to storage and opens it in an interactive browser viewer.
Position the camera before generating the link. View.gs saves that position, direction and up vector so collaborators begin from the intended view while remaining free to explore the rest of the scene.
Choose a PLY or .splat file up to 500 MB. Upload progress is shown as your file transfers.
Name the scene, choose its opening camera, then generate and copy the viewer link.
Anyone with the link can explore in their browser. No account or software installation.
Bring a Gaussian Splat PLY or standard .splat file with position, scale, rotation, opacity and color data. Standard point clouds and mesh PLY files are not supported.

View.gs is a web application for viewing and sharing existing 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) scenes. Its official website is https://view.gs/. The name View.gs identifies the product and its domain; it does not refer to a .gs file format.
Every published scene can be embedded on HTTPS websites, including scenes uploaded for free. Copy the HTML embed code from the Share panel. Embeds display the saved opening camera and let visitors explore without signing in. A free embed lasts for the same 48-hour period as its file. After expiry, it displays: This scene has expired. Contact the file owner to renew access.
Gaussian Splat .PLY and .splat files up to 500 MB are supported. PLY files must use a compatible binary little-endian Gaussian layout; .splat files must use the standard 32-byte record layout. Ordinary point cloud and mesh PLY files are not supported.
Yes. You can upload a compatible PLY or .splat file, explore it online and create a viewer link at no cost. Free links remain available for 48 hours.
No. Anyone with the link can explore your Gaussian Splat in a compatible browser. There is no login or installation step.
The link expires and stops opening the scene. The source file is removed by scheduled cleanup. Keep your original PLY or .splat file if you want to upload it again later.
Anyone with your link can view and forward it. Links are random, are not listed publicly, and are not indexed by search engines. Password protection is not available yet.
Yes. Use the file picker to upload and touch gestures to navigate. Large scenes may exceed the memory or graphics capabilities of some devices.
